The State Election Commissioner is the head of the Office.
An Additional Secretary to Government is appointed as Secretary to the State Election Commission. One Additional Secretary from Government secretariat is functioning as the Senior Administrative Officer.
In addition, three more Additional Secretaries from the Administrative Secretariat, one Additional Secretary from the Finance and Law Department, two Joint Directors: one each from the Panchayat Department and Directorate of Urban Affairs are functioning as Nodal Officers.
Apart from the above, an Additional Secretary each from Law Department and Finance Department are function as Law Officer and Senior Finance Manager (SFM) respectively.
One Deputy Director from the Public Relations Department is functioning as the Public Relations Officer of the State Election Commission. In addition to the above Officers, one Private Secretary to the Commissioner, One Computer Programmer, 12 Assistants (5 from Secretariat and the remaining 7 from other departments), 14 Election Assistants working in each district of the State, One Data Entry Operator, Five Confidential Assistants (2 from Secretariat and the remaining 3 from other departments). Two Typists from Secretariat, One Clerical Assistant, Eleven Peons, One Watchman and three Drivers are working in the Office of the State Election Commission on deputation/contractual/co-terminal/Permanent basis.
